: Foster an environment where he feels comfortable discussing his feelings and experiences, not forced.
Encourage emotional expression
: Normalize expressing emotions and let him know that vulnerability is a strength.
Seek positive male role models
: Connect him with male mentors, family members, or coaches who can provide guidance and support.
Teach life skills
: Involve him in cooking, lawn work, and laundry to promote independence and responsibility. How to use deodorant.
Promote physical activity
: Encourage participation in sports or physical hobbies to build confidence and foster teamwork.
Discuss healthy relationships
: Talk about respect, boundaries, and communication in friendships and romantic relationships.
Set clear boundaries
: Establish rules and expectations to provide structure and guidance.
Model resilience and strength
: Demonstrate how to handle challenges gracefully, showing him the importance of perseverance.
Encourage critical thinking
: Discuss current events and encourage him to form and express his opinions. Discuss becoming a problem solver.
Support interests and passions
: Help him explore hobbies and interests, reinforcing his self-identity and confidence.
Be patient and understanding
: Recognize this is a complex time for him and offer support without pressure.
Celebrate achievements
: Acknowledge his successes, no matter how small, to build his self-esteem. (Milestone Dinners)

: Discuss the importance of treating all individuals respectfully, emphasizing gentleness and kindness.

: Be present in his life, attending events and engaging in activities that matter to him.
