We know the enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy. Your word teaches that our struggles are not against flesh and blood but
against “[the master spirits who are] the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly
(supernatural) sphere.” (Ephesians 6:12 AMPC). Even though we walk in the flesh, we do not war against the flesh.
Thank you for the gift of prayer—our weapon for warfare which is divinely powerful. In Jesus’ name, we ask you to destroy speculations
and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God (2 Corinthians 10:4-5).
Knowing this truth, I pray for [name of struggling one] as they heal from the excruciating pain and loss of a loved one because of suicide.
Satan does not play fair. In fact, he looks for an opportune time to bring about more destruction. Holy Spirit, cancel all plans of the
enemy to continue his scheme for death by suicide. May [name of struggling one] take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ
(2 Corinthians 10:5) and bless this precious one with abundant life as promised in John 10:10.
Thank you that you are a stronghold for the afflicted, a fortress in times of trouble. You have not forsaken those who seek you (Psalm
9:9-10). For those who are oppressed and depressed, I pray the blood of Jesus Christ over their mind, body, and life. Bind up all fears. Replace fear of failure with favor and success. Replace the fear of abandonment with the awareness of your presence and unconditional love. Where they have been traumatized, restore their soul.
Break the generational curse of premature death by suicide and grant to them the gift of a long life. Thank you for healing the brokenhearted and binding up their wounds (Psalm 147:3).
Oh God, in your book were written all the days for [name of struggling one]; even before they were lived out. How precious also are Your thoughts towards [name of struggling one] (Psalm 139). I pray [name of struggling one] will choose life as Deuteronomy 30:19-20
“I call heaven and earth to witness this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse; therefore, choose life, that you and your descendants may live; To love the Lord your God, to obey His voice, and to cling to Him; for He is your life, and the
length of your days, that you may dwell in the land which the Lord swore to give to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.”
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
